About Middleton Basketball Club Programs

President of the Club

"Welcome to the Middleton Basketball Club (MBC)! The goal of MBC is to encourage and develop basketball players in the Middleton Cross Plains School District.  We have 3 goals for the kids each season.  We want the kids to have fun, we want the kids to improve, we want the kids to try out again next year.  We strive on the board each meeting to make these outcomes possible."

Our Mission Statement

We are a volunteer based organization passionately committed to serving and providing an environment for the youth of our community to play, grow, and enjoy the game of basketball.

It is the goal and mission of the Middleton Basketball Club to ensure that players are placed in a manner to best serve the needs of the child athletes as determined by the player's age and skill level at placement evaluations. The number of competitive teams will be determined based on our policy of team sizes and the overall skill level of the athletes being evaluated for placement. Attendance at placement evaluations does not guarantee placement on a competitive team. Evaluators may determine that a player will learn more from a recreational program than the competitive program and will make a recommendation that best fits their skill level.

Choose the Best Program

The Middleton Basketball Club was formed to give student athletes a great foundation of sport instruction before entering the Middleton High School. To provide the very best experience for all players and skill levels, we offer the Competitive and 3v3 programs in MBC and the city of Middleton offers a Recreational program.

The Competitive program provides players the platform to put their athleticism to the test. Winning is not the primary goal, but rather developing skills and helping players develop a strong competitive spirit. We want to help bring out each player's best and help them grow as players. Any child looking to take basketball to the next level should try out for the MBC competitive teams.

The 3v3 Summer League is a fast-paced exciting game that teaches the patterns of movement in basketball while encouraging creativity and cooperative team play. There are no tryouts for the 3v3 summer league.  Teams are formed independently.

The Recreational program is offered by the City of Middleton or City of Cross Plains for boys and girls and focuses on developing the fundamentals of basketball.
